Building Community Power for Economic Equity

Our vision is that the most vulnerable in Los Angeles County live with dignity and have the ability to provide for their families, themselves and others in need. To achieve this vision, disinvested communities will build collective power to create systems that are racially equitable, inclusive and just. CCF is committed to advancing the economic opportunities and mobility of low-wage workers and micro-entrepreneurs in disinvested communities through racial equity-centered funding, advocacy, convening and power-building.

Economic Justice for Low-Wage Workers and Micro-Entrepreneurs

We focus on Los Angeles County’s most vulnerable low-wage workers and micro-entrepreneurs and we define vulnerable communities as those who have faced historic discrimination, exclusion, and exploitation and for whom the current systems perpetuate historical disadvantages across generations. We support efforts to serve disinvested communities through strengthening organizations and building collective power that transforms systems to be racially equitable, inclusive and just.
